Medical Acupuncture

Please note due to the Corona Virus Pandemic we have made the decision to suspend all face to face appointments until 20th April.  All appointments will be conducted via our E-Clinic Service until that date.
At Hardiman Performance, Medical Acupuncture provides a fast and effective route to pain relief, through the use of fine needles inserted into trigger points in muscles. The needles penetrate deep into tension points of these muscles, to relieve pain and increase blood flow to the region. They can hit stubborn areas with precision, even when the source of pain seems to be buried so deep as to be inaccessible to massage. Treating these ‘trigger points’ can release long held pain.

Our Medical Acupuncture practitioners are skilled at finding exact trigger points with a high degree of precision, even when they are buried deep within several bands of muscle. A small number of very fine sterile needles are inserted deep and directly into the muscles. Most patients do not feel any pain upon insertion of these needles.
