Over the next few months I rehabbed my knee to the point to where I'm able to exercise again intensely. I went to Dale at Hardiman Performance almost a year ago now with pain in my shoulder. Six years ago... read more I dislocated my shoulder and following physiotherapy had pretty much got it back to 90% of where it was and was content that this was the best it would ever be again. However, three weeks in a dreadful bed whilst on holiday really flared up the pain so much so that I was really having trouble sleeping. It was with eagerness therefore that I visited Dale upon my return. Dale took the time to understand exactly what my problem was, and its history. It was very clear from day one that you knew what he was talking about. Dale prescribed a course of intensive deep muscle massage backed up with exercises I could do at home. The massage he gave me, whilst not exactly relaxing (!) certainly did the job, so much so that as the sessions went on I actually looked forward to the pain of his treatment as I knew it was doing me good! Within one session my sleep was improved, and within four sessions the pain had pretty much gone away. I have subsequently had a few follow up sessions just to make sure the problem has truly been fixed and am l very pleased to say that 12 months later that you have cured my problem and my shoulder is back to it’s best. Because Dale had helped my wife and my father-in-law to solve their problems effectively before, so I immediately booked an appointment with Dale. Dale introduced the cause of my pain and the treatment plan in detail during the initial consultation. After several treatments, my back pain disappeared completely. I have recommended Dale and Hardiman Performance to several friends, and I will continue to recommend them to all friends who may need physical therapy.

I experienced throbbing pain in my knee all the time, especially at night. I had sleepless nights. Dale worked his magic on my knee, and I religiously committed to the exercise he allocated on the app. I only needed 4, maybe 5 treatments before I could walk fast, climb stairs like a normal person can. Pain has completely disappeared! Dale is an amazing person with a wealth of knowledge and experience. They will only advise you on the number of treatments needed, and they are very accurate with that.

When I was suffering with terrible lower back and leg pain, which was keeping me awake almost all night, I... read more knew I needed to see a professional (definitely not using the NHS services and waiting for ages). I did a search of services near me, that could help with back issues, and the top rated company that appeared was Hardiman Performance. I gave them a call on a Monday morning, when they first opened and managed to get a same day slot. I was assigned to Jake for my issue. After the initial assessment, he diagnosed a herniated disc pushing on the sciatic nerve (which was causing the leg pain and constant cramping in my calf). He did some initial work on my back and we continued with weekly session at first. It is the only time I had any pain relief, so I looked forward to those sessions! I could not see the light, I felt like I’d been like this for a long time when in fact it had only been a couple of weeks. Within 2 sessions, I was no longer crying in pain. After another 3 sessions I was pretty pain free and able to manage doing a lot of my daily activities. The sessions started to spread out as I was responding well to treatment. After another couple of sessions, I was pretty much back to normal and Jake had even fixed a long term issue I experienced with my lower back. I have been back to see Jake once, In January 2023, when it started to get a little sore again. After another session of treatment, I have not needed to go back and see him. It’s been 2 months and I am still doing fine. A big thank you to Jake for his time and magic work! The positivity was also a big help, as he always cheered me up too. If you need any help with any injury or pain, I would recommend Hardiman Performance for sure. I even took my Mum there when she had an issue with her ankle/foot. I'd never been to one before and was a little anxious to be honest. After visiting Dale at his clinic, i wished I'd booked in lot sooner. He made me feel comfortable immediately. His knowledge was incredible and it was really interesting getting an understanding of how different parts of the body work, why injuries develop and how they can be treated from him. As well as my injuries, he gave general advice about things I can do to improve mobility overall, especially working a desk job. The whole process of booking in, receiving treatment info in an email and being able to do remote follow-ups is also really convenient. I look forward to working through the treatment plan. After today, i will plan to book in from time to time to try and keep on top of my mobility. I highly recommend Dale and his clinic!

I was recommended to visit Dale by a friend after having had shoulder/upper back problems for years which were limiting... read more my quality of life on a daily basis. I had been to various health professionals over the years but none of them had a solution. Eventually I was booked in for surgery but decided to visit Dale as my last chance! On my first visit he diagnosed what was wrong with me. He also made it clear that I had to commit to the rehab exercises at home and that he was confident , together we could get me back to normal. I left the consultation feeling confident in what he was saying and positive about the future! After weekly visits and my full commitment to completing the daily exercises he gave me, after 4-5 weeks my pain has gone and my movement has increased dramatically so the surgery has been cancelled.
